Most Covid restrictions come to an end tomorrow.

Wales will move to Covid Alert Level 0 from 6am tomorrow, meaning most remaining restrictions will be lifted.

Key changes from tomorrow:

  • Social distancing no longer required by law. Individual businesses must carry out risk assessments and decide their own rules.
  • No limit on the number of people you can meet indoors or outdoors, including in private homes, public places or at events.
  • Businesses that have had to remain closed, including nightclubs, can reopen.
  • Masks no longer need to be worn in hospitality (pubs, clubs, restaurants, cafes, coffee shops etc).
  • Masks must continue to be worn in other indoor public areas such as shops, public transport, and health and social care settings. They will no longer be recommended in school classrooms.
  • People who are double-vaccinated or under 18 no longer need to isolate if they are identified as close contacts of someone who has Covid.
  • Everyone must still isolate for 10 days if they have Covid-19 symptoms or a positive test result.
